Remember Me Tree/booth

We had a lot of fun having our booth at Christmas In the Park in Sweeny. We even marched in the parade! We were all very happy it never rained although it sure seemed to want to.

The 'Remember Me' Tree came from an idea my son
PFC Craig Anderson had last year before reporting to his first duty station. He saw the angel trees that are all around us and wanted to know if I would make a tree with soldiers' names on it-to Remember them. He said so many soldiers are afraid they will be 'forgotten', so it was then we began planning the 'Remember Me' tree. He left for Iraq just before it was finished but he will be getting pictures of it. He knows it is finished and is very pleased.

It is very important that we ALWAYS remember our soldiers-whether they are just beginning to veterans!
