Meeting Announcements
We are going to keep this page as is, so we can remind ourselves of the many many soldiers that are making sure we live in a place where we can actually put together boxes without someone looking over us and telling us what to do and how to do it and where to send it/them, that all of the care packages we pack are for ALL of our Wonderful Soldiers no matter where they are, what branch, etc.  The next time you see a Soldier-PLEASE tell him/her-
Thank YOU!!
Many Blessings To All
-------------------------
We would like to Thank the Sweeny Post Office for all of their help with shipping out the packages.

A big Thank You goes to Stewart's Grocery for our shop that is located in their shopping center in Sweeny.

Thank You to all of our Volunteers, without you we would not be able to send the packages the way we do.

We would like to thank everyone for helping with the Valentine Boxes, 2008!

Those boxes were a lot of fun as all of them are but this time we sent so much candy that no one went without getting a sweet tooth! We would like to thank Life Check Pharmacy for all the candy canes they donated and we are talking a lot of candy canes.  Also, the volunteers that filled out the custom forms, labels, packed, taped, and more to get these care packages ready for shipping.

 2008

Care packages are so much fun!  We were able to send care packages to the 86th Surgical Combat support hospital in Baghdad with many of them filled with either pillow cases made and donted by many of you which we cannot say Thank You enough.  Also we had many 4th of July decorations they needed and with your generosity we were able to send quite a number of care packages containing the many items.  We received a card and they were going to have a 4th of July picnic where many of the items donated will be used.  Thank YOU all so very much!

4th of July, 2009 care cackages went out with a lot of 'fun' inside them.  They needed sunscreen due to the hot temperatures of it being over 115 degrees most of the time.  Needless to say we cannot send anything that would melt including crayons-yes, they like to color.

The squirt guns were a big hit along with the much needed 'coolie ties' they can wear around their necks and the bandana's for the dust storms.  One of our volunteers makes the coolie ties and she does so much for the soldiers that we cannot Thank her enough along with her mom who makes many many of the pocket crosses we are sending and giving to every soldier that comes home.

We have been so blessed with being able to fill and send these wonderful care packages and it is in part by all of YOU out there contributing and being so generous.  We THANK YOU and so do the Soldiers!!  NOW we are looking at filling the boxes for the soldiers that are stateside and stationed elsewhere.  October is coming up fast so the next shipment after this will be in October.
