We would like to Thank the Brazoria County Cavalry for their support during Memorial Weekend 2011. Through them we received many many donations including a wonderful monetary donation. These wonderful donations were donated by SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) from Sweeny High School. There was a competition between the classes to see which would donate the most money and the Junior class won. They collected at total of $257.38 and then had fun shopping for the much needed items for the 86th Surgical Combat Hospital in Baghdad the West of the Brazos Military Troop Support is helping. It is wonderful when students get involved like this and the soldiers are going to use every bit of what they donated not to mention the many smiles it will bring to their faces during their stay in the hospital. Some of the items you can see in the picture but to let you know there are many pillowcases and 4th of July decorations. When you see any of our Sweeny High School students please tell them THANK YOU-they are more than deserving of it.
